You can override the position by turning the throttle up or down without disengaging the unit. The throttle position will stay where you set it until the cruise is released by the front brake or the manual push lever.

No. Depending on the position of the wire protruding from the flange of the heated grip, it is possible for it to become entangled in the BrakeAway mounting hardware when you turn the throttle. Due to this safety concern, we do not recommend this combination.

The 7CPO1, 7CP04,and 5CPO2 are designed to fit the Kuryakyn Iso Grips. You will need to lube the grip with dishsoap so you can work it over the rubber pads. This unit will also fit all the way over the flange of the Iso grip without modification.

The 6CPO5 for Harley Davidson will work with ANY cable style 1″ Harley grip. You remove your grip to install the BrakeAway cruise control. For Harley Heated grips cruise control needs to be installed first.
